Fire Response
FRNSW is the lead combat agency for structure fires across NSW. Our crews respond to fires in residential homes, commercial and industrial premises, high-rise buildings, vehicles and the natural environment.
We also respond to storm and flood damage, aircraft incidents and other major emergencies where our specialist skills and equipment are required.

Rescue Operations
Our specialist rescue teams are trained and equipped to respond to a wide range of rescue incidents, including motor vehicle accidents, industrial entrapments, building collapses and natural disasters.
Hazardous Materials
FRNSW is the lead agency for hazardous material (hazmat) incidents in NSW. Our specialist Hazmat teams are trained to identify, assess and mitigate incidents involving dangerous chemicals, gases and other substances.
