Smoke Alarms Save Lives

Working smoke alarms are your single most important defence against dying in a home fire. NSW law requires interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms in all new homes and significant renovations.

  • Install on every level of your home
  • Place inside every bedroom and hallway
  • Use interconnected alarms β€” when one sounds, all sound
  • Test monthly and replace batteries annually
  • Replace the entire unit every 10 years
